How to Get More Clients with SEO
That’s essentially the end result of search engine optimization: helping your website getting found by potential clients when they are searching for your services.
When I build a new website (or redesign it), I include on-page SEO as part of the process. This is where I choose a keyword for each page and help it be found for that one phrase. Each page on a different keyword that it is being found for.
The on-going process of improving your website is where an SEO maintenance plan becomes important. The thing about SEO is that your competitors are also working at improving their search results too, so it’s a constant process to stay ahead of them as well.
I’m excited to announce that I have partnered with a local SEO expert to offer these services to new clients again. While I love the front-end side of SEO, my partner specializes in the backend support so that you get a team of experts working with you.
Essentially, while SEO isn’t hard, it is a time-consuming task. It starts with finding the best keyword phrase (such as auto detailing Eugene), and then following the algorithms to have that keyword mentioned the optimal number of times in the page content, title, meta description, as well as still writing the content for a human reader.
Each page has its own individual keyword so that they are spreading the reach of your website, rather than competing with each other for the same keyword.
Essentially it comes down to the fact that search engines want to produce the best results for their ‘clients’, so they rank websites better that help users find the information they are looking for.
There is also a background process to check for broken links, ensure that Title tags, meta description and many other factors are all optimized to ensure that you website is not dinged for having the wrong information.
SEO is not a one-time process that you can set and forget. As I mentioned earlier, your competitors are also most likely taking the same action to ensure that their website is helping them be found by your ideal clients, so this process involves regularly tracking your website rankings, creating new content to improve search results and exploring new ways to help your website be found.
